Bedroom Problems

Upcoming May & June Shows

If you’re looking for a reason to celebrate, we’ve got you covered. Bedroom Problems are playing three (!!!) shows between right now and the end of June.

On May 18 we’re part of a fundraiser for the East Kensington Neighborhood Association. We practice in Kensington, so we’re proud to lend a hand to a  great community organization.

Next, on June 15 we’ll celebrate the 260th anniversary of Ben Franklin’s discovery of electricity at Milkboy in Center City with Eternal Summers (VA, Kanine Records). If their last show in town was any indication, this show will be crazy packed, so get your tickets now!

We saved the best for last on June 30, when play at Kung Fu Necktie for Sugar Town. Sugar Town puts the musical contributions of women in the spotlight, so we’re super-proud to be a part of it.

Full show details are below; check our websiteblog, and related social media accounts for more details. We always appreciate having you at our shows – it makes being on stage so much fun!

FRI 5/18: Benefit for East Kensington Neighborhood Association

Come out and support the East Kensington Neighborhood Association on Friday, May 18th! It’s a night of neighborhood bands for a good cause — the EKNA, of course!

The East Kensington Neighbors Association was founded in 2004 with help from the community organizing arm ( the NAC) of the NKCDC. EKNA’s mission is to organize the voice, concerns, and the action of EK residents. Geographically E.K. is bounded by Norris Street to the South, Frankford and Trenton Ave to the East, Lehigh Ave to the North, and Front Street/Kensington Ave. to the West.

Full details at the Facebook link above! We have a couple more shows to announce, but all in due time. Come see us play a brand new, as-yet untitled new song!

Thanks to the City Paper for some pre-show love. Roxy’s old band is called MOONMEN ON THE MOON, MAN and they have a record out, if you are curious.

Today at practice, we learned Matt’s cat is really good at Rush drum solos.

It has been a long time coming, but today sees the release of our new single. Two new songs are ready for you to listen and purchase via our Bandcamp page — RIGHT NOW!

We hope you like ‘em.

We’ll have special copies of the single for purchase at our show on Friday, April 20th. We thought this was a much better idea than our other merchandising plans. We didn’t think you’d be interested in Bedroom Problems homemade artisanal cheese and/or a Carvel cake that’s been in Roxy’s freezer since the fall.

“Wait, you’re playing a show?”

Yeah, we told you about that! You know, our first show in 5 months! You know, our first show with Matt and Roxy in the band! You know, THIS SHOW.

We hope to see you at Cha-Cha’Razzi! Let’s hang!
